Juan Pablo Rothschild joined Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal in 2004 and was made partner in 2017. His area of expertise is Tax and International Trade and Customs Law.
He provides advice on customs and foreign trade matters to local and international companies in crossborder transactions. His objective is to streamline tax, customs and logistics for the most efficient outcome.
He is also experienced in bringing cases against the Customs Authority, whether from an administrative standpoint or in the Federal Tax Court and the courts of justice.
He graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1998, specializing in economic and business law. In 2002 he earned a Masters of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation at Boston University, in the United States.
He teaches in the undergraduate law degree at the Universidad San Andrés, and is an active member of the Argentine Institute of Customs Studies and the Argentine Association of Tax Studies.
He has participated as a speaker in academic forums and conferences in Argentina and abroad, and has published many articles in his area of expertise.
