After moving to the Middle East in 2014, Thais focuses on providing complex tax advice and facilitating tax-related training for high profile clients in the GCC region. She is a native Portuguese speaker and is fluent in English (oral and written).
Originally, Thais is a Litigation Lawyer and a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) since 2010. She developed her skills as a litigation lawyer at family, labor and civil court.
Working for the public sector, she was a paralegal for the General Prosecutor’s Office in Rio de Janeiro and an advisor to the Municipality of her hometown, Nova Iguaçu. Also in Nova Iguaçu, she was a mediator at the domestic violence court.
On completing her Post degree in Public Law and Human Rights law, she rejoined her former university as a professor, teaching Brazilian Constitutional Law, Human Rights, Ethics and Consumer Law for two years.
Thais also developed a personal project as a writer, and acquired much of teaching experience.
